Dating a medical resident student

Hospitals are comprised primarily of women, and women tend to gossip.

Keeping a relationship with a coworker private can be impossible. A relationship constantly under scrutiny from female coworkers can be exhausting, and most nurses don’t need the added pressure at work.

Wiele z tych kobiet to zdesperowane samotne mamuśki i zdradzające żony pragnące nieco zabawy. Czy zgadzasz się zachować tożsamość tych kobiet w tajemnicy?

Most nurses have seen the Grey’s Anatomy episode where Rose, the nurse, and Derek, the dreamy surgeon, take their relationship to the next level. Nurses rarely sneak off to on-call rooms in the middle of a shift.

However, adding the benefit of being in the same place has also added the difficulties of a residents schedule. B has been on trauma rotations the last few months, and he comes home utterly exhausted.

He eats dinner and hits the sack almost every night without so much as say two words to me.

Interns are assigned quite possibly the worst schedule and on-call rotation in the hospital. At a facility I’m familiar with, interns in the ICU and cardiology are on call every third day and cover one week of night call per month.

Let's be honest - who really wants to talk about bowel movements and splenectomies over a romantic dinner?Reflecting on the last two years, I have realized my life has been a whirlwind.I went back and read my first ever blog post titled “Medical School Girlfriend = Constant Waiting Game.” After thinking about that title, I realized this blog should really be called: “Resident’s Spouse = Alone in Empty House.” lollllz – I literally just laughed out loud. When a nurse and a doctor date, it becomes everybody’s business.Coworkers feel invested in these relationships and need details.
